L'Oreal is one of the leading cosmetic and skin care companies in the world with popular consumer brands, Maybelline and L'Oreal Paris, professional brands, Redkin and Matrix, and luxury brands, Lancome, Ralph Lauren and Skinceuticals, just to name a few.  We have reviewed several of their products (Lancome and Skinceuticals) and wanted to see if there was much difference between them.

Scientific-Backing of Ingredients  
The main active anti-aging ingredient with scientific-backing are:   Retinol A, a popular ingredient that helps with smoothing and softening skin and collagen production, Cyclopentasiloxane, known for reducing puffiness and diminish circles, and Glycerin for moisturizing.*

User Experience and Complaints
 While some users found great benefits, there were also quite a number who did not get the results they were hoping for.   The dispenser also proved to be defective in some cases.  This is a 2 step process from the same container – a cream for under the eye and a gel for the eyelid.

In the last 36 months, there were 4 BBB complaints filed against the company, L'Oreal Paris. for which 3 were resolved and 1 closed.

Conclusion
L'Oreal RevitaLift Double Eye Lift has a few scientifically-backed ingredients, and some positive user results. However, the active ingredients are not as powerful as other more potent anti aging ingredients,  The lower rating is also due to the lack of guarantees and before and after photos available.   Even through there is no money back guarantee, the price is such that it may be worth trying if  other  top rated wrinkle creams don't work for you.
